We have an immediate opening in our Los Angeles office for a Enterprise Project Manager.
As a key member of the Enterprise Project Management Office, the Enterprise Project Manager, will support and lead strategic projects across the California Cryobank Life Sciences (CCLS) in an environment of constant and significant operational and geographic growth/expansion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a facilitator and mentor to project managers across business lines of CCLS, including supporting the planning, executing, monitoring and controlling of projects in alignment with established project management process, timelines, resource constraints and budgets.
- Act in a lead project manager capacity on wide-ranging enterprise projects, and in some cases business line focused projects as needs arise.
- Support the execution of PMO recurring meetings, status roll-ups, cross-team communication, and executive reporting.
- Support continuous process improvement of the Enterprise PMO and project management best practices, supporting the implementation of governance, technology-based project management tools, and process changes.
- Ensure projects are kept up to date relating to project status, issue resolution, and resource leveling / optimization.
- Support resource management planning across projects.

The Enterprise Project Manager reports to the Director, Enterprise Project Management Office.
Education and/or Experience
- Previous project management experience leading enterprise project management initiatives. Experience participating in project management office execution a plus.
- Strong championing, facilitation and mentoring skills to train business line project managers on new tools, process, and governance.
- Experience working with project management tools and ability to get up to speed on new tools quickly without oversight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to develop reports and presentations to peer level and executive audiences.
- Ability to be an effective facilitator of the senior leadership team and project management teams.
- Ability to travel periodically to CCLS locations across the United States and other international locations as they develop. Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
- Formal training in the project management lifecycle. PMP certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, MIS, technology, life sciences, engineering, or other related fields.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- There will be very limited need to travel â approximately 10-15% of time.
