MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

Responsible for all aspects of management ofmultiple store locations in a district.

For each store, The District Manager isresponsible for recruiting, developing and training a staff that is dedicatedto driving the business. In addition, the District Manager is responsible forthe merchandise, inventory, meeting all operational budgets providing andmaintaining a proactive business plan and sales floor.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES GENERATION

· Meet sales goals

· Analyze availablesales reports and data to determine the needs of the business and set businessstrategies

· Track, monitor andcommunicate business results

· Seek new ways toincrease business

· Ensure individualsales goals are set for sales associates; manage results to ensure peakperformance

· Support thedevelopment of associates’ sales techniques. Demonstrate an in-depth knowledgeof the merchandise; ensure selling staff is fluent in all aspects of productknowledge

· Collaborate withSupervisor and Marketing to identify marketing opportunities to support sales

CUSTOMER SERVICE

· Ensure all Sales Repsprovide the highest level of customer service

· Ensure Sales Repsmaintain Elite Metro Corp policy and standards

· Manage customerdatabase and utilize information to increase sales and contact customers.

· Maintain floorpresence to assist customers and Sales Reps with any difficulty.

· Resolve all customerproblems and complaints quickly and effectively

· Assist Sales Reps withvarious customer service issues i.e. dissatisfied customers, returns, defectivemerchandise

· Manage all specialevents inclusive of promotion and other events.

· Empower Team to makedecisions in the customer’s best interest that also support the Company’sbenefits.

OPERATIONS

· Ensure facility maintenance,presentation and organization

· Maintain a systematicauditing program to ensure full location compliance in all areas

· Control store expensesand maintain budgets, continually striving to reduce costs

· Ensure deliveries areproperly processed in a timely manner

· Manage and conductbi-annual inventories

· Support and assumeresponsibility for the integrity of Shipping/Receiving in all areas and ensurethat staff adheres to all Shipping/ Receiving policies and procedures

· Ensure staff istrained in all areas of appropriate register usage and maintenance

· Understand andproperly execute all management register functions

· Support, promote andassume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management,physical security, store cash controls, inventory management, inter-storecommunication and audits

· Build and maintaingood communication with members of corporate office, office and other stores

· Exhibit proficiency incomputer programs used by the Company including: Word, Excel, and Score cards.

MERCHANDISING/VISUAL

· Implement and maintainall merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandisingstrategies

· Partner withlogistics, product teams and supervisor to ensure appropriate assortment forthe store

· Ensure the sellingfloor is neat, clean, organized and always reflects the correct visual image

· Ensure presentation ofall displays, fixtures and all visual areas are reflective of current visualdirection

· Identify andcommunicate product concerns in a timely manner

· Communicate inventoryneeds to support the business goal

· Recruit, train, anddevelop staff ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner withqualified personnel

· Support, implement andprovide follow-up for all training programs, MetroGO course, etc.

· Continually evaluatethe performance of each Sales Reps and provide constant feedback to ensureresults

· Resolve all humanresources issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR whennecessary

· Ensure integrity ofpayroll and the payroll process

· Ensure image andgrooming standards are professional, reflective of the brand image and alwaysadhered to

WORK EXPERIENCE

· 2 yearsdistrict/regional management preferred

· 3 years Salesexperience preferred

· Transportationrequired or willing to travel up

· Retail Managementexperienced 2-5 years required

· Spanish speaking ispreferred but not required
