SUMMARY: A digitally centric, seasoned Project/Program manager, managing the successful delivery of strategic digital & data science projects, programs, and products that drive business results and customer value. Typically leads and manages transformative, high visibility and complex emerging technology initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads a portfolio of projects/programs, typically involving the need for FinTechs, emerging technologies, and, or platforms to be integrated into traditional bank systems and processes. Typically requires orchestration, communication, and collaboration across IT enterprise/solution architects, compliance, risk, operations, finance, multiple lines of business, markets and business executives.
  • Ensures completion of feasibility, risk, regulatory compliance, and ROI analyses and business benefits for proposed projects. Presents a recommendation related to project feasibility and resource requirements.
  • Leverages techniques such as customer journey mapping, customer research, user experience design, and customer feedback to establish scope, requirements, solution design, and measurements for success.
  • Identifies project or program stakeholders, establishes and manages expectations, while ensuring appropriate engagement, communication and escalation.
  • Plans, manages and oversees organizational change management needs in support of the project, program or product roll-out, including required policy or procedure changes, internal associate communications, training and support.
  • Develops project plans, manages resources, the project schedule and budget to meet deliverables. Maintains all reporting requirements as needed.
  • Leads the project team through the project lifecycle, using appropriate method (e.g. agile, waterfall).
  • Acts as an advisor for initiatives related to digital user experience.
  • Assesses and manages project risks for assigned projects. Proactively addresses and resolves issues as they arise.
  • Interfaces with customers and management to manage expectations, provide status updates on project and discuss concerns. Is accountable for ensuring resolution of concerns/issues.
  • Leads in the development of RFP/RFI process as needed.
  • Ensures appropriate involvement/approvals of Bank and external resources according to organizational policy, such as Committees, Compliance, Information Security, and Operations.
  • Actively manages project execution, including assigning work to project staff, managing project scope and finances, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Manages and communicates changes to scope, schedule and budget using appropriate validation techniques to keep the plan accurate, updated; reflective of approved project changes.
  • Ensure the development and alignment for final testing, acceptance, closure along with ongoing management and support plan for new products or solutions.
  • Leads feedback sessions such as post-mortems and/or retrospectives
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, related field or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • 2 years of User Experience or Customer Experience required.
  • 8 years of Digital/Technology program, or product management experience required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master, or Certified Scrum Product Owner Certification preferred.
