What you will be doing:
- Assessment of technology trends and driving next generation technologies into payment solutions in order to enable breakthrough experiences and capabilities for NAB merchants and their customers.
- Keeps the company abreast of industry trends of advanced capabilities such a Biometrics, Machine Learning, 3D imaging and delivers market appropriate integration to NAB products such as POS/ECR and payment services.
- Provide disruptive cost breakthroughs, faster delivery cadence, address “High integration” market opportunities in retail, hospitality and other key Merchant spaces – for example, Pay/Order at the Table, Alternative payments, “All in One” POS/Payments systems, etc..
- Deliver next Gen SW stacks and payment system solutions in partnership with industry HW providers.
What we need from you:
- 10+ Years leading high impact development organizations, delivery of market/category leading Software products.
- A serial innovator and thought leader in leveraging technology to achieve breakthroughs in Embedded products and SaaS. 20+ Years Software development experience with embedded and Cloud based technologies, Java, C/C++, AWS, API gateways, Databases, DevOps.
- Deep expertise with Android based systems specifically with applications in Payments, Thin Client, etc.
- Leading development of ECR/Point of sale systems in Android and iOS.
- A hands on leader able to resolve complex architectural/implementation issues, and dive into Code as needed.
- Respected as a world class SW leader and able to attract top developer talent.
- Obsessed with delivering the utmost Quality (Software) and ability to build a “Quality first” team culture.
