This role is the senior leader of medical group operations for the integrated medical group in the market. Primary responsibilities include the effective operational and financial performance of the medical group with specific focus on quality, accessibility, patient and provider satisfaction, financial excellence, and overall culture.
- Directs the efficient operations of market medical group practices.
- Actively participates as a visible leader both in the practices and as a part of the market senior leadership team.
- Proactively advances the performance of the medical group through improved processes, efficiencies and provider and associate engagement.
- Functions as a positive representative of the medical group and health system within the community.
- Direct and develop clinical and operational leaders within the medical group.
- Ensures medical group financial performance at or beyond budget.
- Leads medical group key performance and strategic initiatives related to quality, access, productivity, and patient and provider satisfaction using national benchmarks and best practices.
- Assist in the design and execution of the market’s growth and strategic plans, including new sites of care, new services and the recruitment of new providers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Masters degree preferred
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in leadership role within Medical Group specifically (with at least 100 providers)
