The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects of the company and assists the CEO in providing strategic leadership for the organization. Functioning as a member of the senior management team, the COO is responsible for instituting agency policies and systems that provide effective internal management and has direct responsibility for managing and providing strategic leadership and oversight to assigned departments in close support of the CEO. Develop short and long-range plans and goals for all agency programs, funding, management and operations.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master Degree preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Sound experience in non-profit fiscal management
Program development, management and evaluation
Not for profit staffing or HR experience
Extensive experience in public service administration, community organizing, social service management
Strong educational background in human services related field
High level of initiative and creativity
Proven ability to be an effective manager and supervisor
Ability to inspire staff in accomplishment of organizational goals
