Job Description

The Americas CCO and the Compliance COO/Head of Compliance Metrics and Data Analytics will be responsible for the business management of the Americas Compliance Department, including (i) the production of monthly and quarterly reporting to Home Office, (ii) the oversight and governance of Americas compliance risk and performance measurement, including the development, review and updating of appropriate compliance metrics, the setting of thresholds, performance of trend and root cause analysis as appropriate, (iii) the development of appropriate dashboards and reports for various levels of management , (iv) the annual development and day-to-day management of the Americas Compliance Department budget, including management of headcount and expenses, and (v) certain other transversal projects, The position is a key resource for the Americas CCO in the management of the Compliance Department, with responsibility for the following key processes: • Collaborating with Home Office stakeholders on the development/enhancement of Home Office reports. • Collecting and producing information/reports to be provided to Home Office on a monthly/quarterly basis. • Coordinating with various local and Home Office stakeholders to develop/track the annual Americas Compliance budget. • Working with CCO to produce various presentations for the CEO, Compliance Risk Committee, the US Risk Committee, and regulators. • Managing transversal and operational management aspects of the Americas Compliance department. The position is also a key resource for the Americas CCO in the development and continuing enhancement of a comprehensive Compliance risk management reporting program, including but not limited to the following: • Enhance and implement an appropriate risk taxonomy, risk appetite with respect to Compliance management reporting. Such taxonomy should be coordinated with RCSA, enterprise risk management and other risk assessment exercises. • Develop/enhance current set of KPIs and KRIs to measure Compliance risks and the performance of controls and to provide clear insight into the severity of risks and how effectively they are being managed. • Develop additional metrics and corresponding thresholds to enhance the risks measured by the Firm’s risk appetite. • Develop and implement governance process to continuously review, improve and strengthen, and add and retire as needed, Compliance metrics. Develop appropriate controls for data collection, metrics review and reporting processes. • Develop/enhance, in coordination with IT, an automated reporting system in order to ensure robust data collection for effective drill downs and roll ups and to identify issues for tracking and remediation. (System is in process of being built.) • Develop/enhance governance and procedures for reporting processes and for issue tracking and remediation. • Enhance existing reports/dashboards and create additional reports/dashboards to: • Inform the Board and other levels of management of key compliance risks, effectiveness of controls (operating and design effectiveness) and mitigating processes. • Provide relevant information for each level of management. • Maintain ongoing awareness of regulatory expectations and best industry practice with respect to compliance risk management and recommend program enhancements to the CCO: • Compare regulatory requirements to the information collected and identify the any additional data needed to enhance knowledge of how the Firm is meeting regulatory expectations. • Define and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify key technology resources, such as a GRC or management information systems, and drive relevant vendor selection processes. • Coordinate reporting and other Compliance management processes with other Natixis US entities as well as Home Office.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant industry experience. Experience at, or in interacting with, regulators (FRB/NY DFS in particular) is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus). • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. • Skilled as business driver for successful implementation specifications and management of controlled reporting environment • Solid understanding of compliance reporting and metrics infrastructure and governance. • Solid understanding of automated reporting systems that generate reporting in templated form and experience in guiding IT to develop, implement and enhance such systems • Solid understanding of budgets and general business management of a department. • Responsible for an overall control framework over both manual and automated reporting to ensure its accuracy and reliability and to ensure appropriate change management. • Self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment. • Confident and have excellent communications skills as the role will have global exposure, accountability and responsibility. • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional relationship building and influencing skills and ability to effectively partner with all levels of management across numerous teams to help drive the control agenda • Demonstrated superior problem solving and decision-making skills.
