Job Summary

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), with experience in U.S. Federal IT and software testing, to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business with a primary focus on technical solution development for proposals. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately.

Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. Significant experience with the U.S. Federal Government in Software Test Automation, Test Automation Frameworks, Agile DevOps software testing, Section 508 and WCAG Accessibility Assessment, Load and Performance Testing, Localization Testing, IV&V, QA, Cyber Security, NIST SP 800-171 Assessment and Compliance are a must. Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
• Support the research, design, development, and documentation/presentation of leading-edge software test automation solutions – including test automation frameworks for functional testing and non-functional testing (load/performance, scalability, security, Section 508 / WCAG Accessibility, etc.).
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
• Study current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development
• Set company technical vision and leading the company’s technological development
• Communicate technology strategy to partners and government customers
• Write clear and compelling technical solutions as part of our Technical Proposal team.
• Present technical solutions at ‘proposal orals’ presentation sessions, and at industry conferences/forums.
• Provide briefings and ‘lessons learned’ to our field staff and/or customers.
• Help to manage the ‘technical delivery’ of our software testing services.
• Ensure technology standards and best practices are met.
• Share technological visions, opportunities, and risks company-wide
• Represent the company at conferences and networking events
• Ensure the company’s technological processes and services comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
• 7 plus years of full life-cycle software testing experience.
• 5 plus years of test automation experience.
• 5 plus years of test automation framework design and implementation experience.
• 5 plus years experience with a variety of software test automation tools, both commercial and open source.
• 5 plus years of experience with CI/CD, Agile, and/or DevOps SDLC’s.
• Experience with back-end database testing, data validation testing, API testing, cross browser testing, mobile app testing, functional testing, load and performance testing, accessibility testing, and security testing.
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; Master’s degree in information technology or a technology-related discipline preferred
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Excellent analytical and time-management skills
• Experience developing test automation using Selenium, JMeter, and associated tools
• Strong Java, Selenium, and JMeter skills
• Experience supporting testing in an Agile test environment, including exposure to CI/CD tools
• Experience developing complex SQL queries, XML to test database and API functionality
• Experience in a Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with SauceLabs for cross-browser, mobile testing
• Experience with GitHub, Maven, TestRail, Oracle, Ajax
• Experience with Page Object Model (POM) & Page Factory in Selenium
• Experience with JMeter for performance testing
• U.S. Citizenship is required
