Arukah Healthcare may be the new adventure you are looking for. Arukah Healthcare is a concept stage start-up looking to build a healthcare platform to help people heal at home.
I am looking for one or two co-founders to help build a non-invasive home health monitoring business for patients who are medium to high risk for re-hospitalization. The right candidate will be a versatile expert in mobile application technologies that connects to external devices and transfer data via a HIPAA compliant cloud application to a 3rd party healthcare IT vendor. Eventually (s)he will lead and manage the successful implementation of development projects, manage all phases of development, security, infrastructure, cloud storage and performance management, testing, and the tech-component of the relationships inside and outside of the company.

Essential Skills:
- The ability to fully manage hands on product development, database/network performance, and security planning and performance (your the first line of development)
- Ability to build a start-up organization from the ground up as a member of a startup Founding team, or early employee.
- Experience hiring key personnel and vendors to support software development, including expert consultants, architects, programmers, QAs, security supporting third parties, and database administrators
- Demonstrates success building beautiful, successful products in small business environments
- Manages with outstanding prioritization, time management and organization skills
- Demonstrates ability to identify and implement process improvements to deliver projects more efficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or equivalent
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
- .NET development and knowledge of MS-SQL
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliant cloud hosting
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning
- APIs and Integrations
- Data Analytics
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manages the platform development, database/network performance, and security planning and performance
- Manages the project implementation plan, project scheduling, resource allocation strategy and comprehensive project documentation for assigned projects
- Hires and manages all key tech personnel, including employees and vendors such as programmers, architects, database administrators, security auditors and consultants, QAs, and project managers and owners
- Manages all aspects of the design, development and implementation of application development
- Communicates progress effectively to the leadership team
- Uses the combination of relevant experience and practical problem-solving skills to make effective decisions; acts decisively; anticipates future needs; and includes others’ perspectives
- Encourages new ideas; rewards innovation; builds buy in; communicates change rationale
