Millcreek Behavioral Health is searching for a compassionate, energetic and enthusiastic Chief Operating Officer who is interested in working under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer to direct and coordinate the daily operational activities of the facility. Millcreek of Arkansas was founded in 1988 in response to the overwhelming need for services for emotionally disturbed and developmentally disabled children and adolescents in Arkansas. Since that time, we have provided quality care and service for emotionally disturbed children & adolescents in a 111 bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) and developmentally disabled children & adolescents in a 61 bed Intermediate Care Facility for the Intellectually Disabled (ICF-IID).

The ideal candidate will provide overall direction for one or more departments, and in the CEO’s absence, may operate the facility within that capacity. Other responsibilities include collaborating with CEO to accomplish facility goals by aligning strategies and improve efficiency and quality in delivering quality healthcare services. This candidate may recruit, train, and supervise staff members. May assist with budgets and spending to ensure departments operates within funding limits. May evaluate operational processes by analyzing business objectives and patient needs. The ideal candidate will have and maintain a current knowledge of healthcare industry trends and changes and ensure the facility is prepared and compliant.

Must be 21 years of age with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience in a related field required. Master’s degree and an independent clinical licensure (LPCC, LMFT, LWSW,) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the behavioral health field preferred. Must be flexible with work schedule to ensure efficient facility operations.
