As a member of the National Tax Technology (NTT) Team you will be on the cutting edge of integrating Technology and Tax. You will leverage personal and industry knowledge and general intellectual curiosity of cutting edge technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing etc. to drive value for our clients. The team you lead will develop and deploy these cutting edge internal and go to market solutions to ensure RSM continues to lead in the middle market.

In this role, you will work with organizations who are undergoing transformative change to develop and implement innovative solutions elevating how tax functions operate.
A Senior Manager on our NTT IM team sets the standard for corporate tax technology product strategy while working with customized and integrated proprietary applications to drive value for corporate tax directors and their tax departments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day management of multiple NTT integrated technology engagements, interacting directly with clients and local office RSM teams
- Consult with clients in transforming their tax compliance processes using cutting edge process and technology solutions
- Lead the development of new NTT Technology features and capabilities
- Supervise national teams and mentor and develop managers, consultants, senior consultants, and interns providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance
- Actively participate in marketplace pursuits such as meeting with prospective clients and demonstrating the NTT Technology suite
- Manage the economics of client projects
- Builds new capabilities on the team by selecting platforms, developing plans to integrate into the team toolbox, and setting and achieving benchmark goals for usage and impact
- Administrative duties related to managing the team (e.g. monitor team schedule and workloads, ensure team members have stretch assignments, provide timely performance feedback, and ensure individual and team goals are aligned to CTO vision / strategy)
- Other duties as assigned, including supporting training efforts, assisting in other projects, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
- US Federal Income Tax, US State Income Tax, or US Taxation and information reporting for Foreign Operations
- Current CPA or CPA-Eligible
- Proficiency in either ONESOURCE or Corptax products
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- 10+ years in Tax in a client centric organization with increasing responsibilities
- 3 – 5+ years leading large, cross-functional projects
- Deployed a solution using one or more technologies (e.g., VBA, data analytics, RPA)
- Managed end user testing efforts of new software in a corporate environment
- Ability to create and articulate a clear strategy and vision to a cross-functional team
- Work with large, cross-functional teams of varying levels
- Provide constructive and timely performance feedback regarding technical and soft skills to team
- Build and retain a high-performing team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in Tax or related field
- Public accounting experience
- Tax software vendor experience
- Sales experience
