Builder Jones is seeking a Branch President for its Minneapolis office. We are a general contractor that specializes in all aspects of remodeling and new construction, decks, basement finishes and additions. We have created a culture and vision for the future of this industry and are looking to add to our talented and dedicated staff who are having fun doing what we do.
You will be an integral part of our leadership team as you manage the teams within the Minneapolis branch of Builder Jones.
KEY DELIVERABLES
Using your successful experience as a construction manager or executive, you will:
- Ensure that production processes run reliably and efficiently and be responsible for organizing production schedules and assessing project and resource requirements.
- Have respectful interaction with other employees, owners, consultants, trade partners and general public.
- Establish regular meetings and communicate a vision with your team.
- Effectively monitor projects from the early stages of development until project completion.
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with sales team to fulfill sales quotas.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes.
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
- Continually working to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.
- Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees.
- Record data and report on sales, production and customer satisfaction.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
- Construction experience a must.
- Must have a successful track record as a construction manager or executive.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Buildertrend software.
- Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment with tact and diplomacy.
- Highly motivated problem-solver.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communicate well one-on-one and in small groups.
- Able to inspire/motivate others to follow your lead.
- A results-oriented “doer.”
- Able to cope effectively with complexity and change.
- Proven success in leadership positions.
