The Sr Director, Management Consulting Partners is responsible for executing on all field-related aspects of the business relationship with each partner; recruiting, onboarding, training, supporting sales engagements, developing pipeline and win/loss reporting. This role is responsible for developing and leading all Management Consulting partner sales activities for Management Consulting partners. The individual that fills this position will have the opportunity to build a world-class partner ecosystem leveraging existing Management Consulting partner relationships and developing new Management Consulting partnerships to support the overall growth targets and objectives for ThoughtSpot, globally. In addition, this role is responsible for business planning; sales & growth targets and marketing objectives, which are reviewed with the partner and ThoughtSpot management team on a regular basis.
The Sr Director, Management Consulting Partners primary objective is to generate net new business for ThoughtSpot by leveraging existing Management Consulting partners as well as building new Management Consulting partnerships. The person in this role is responsible for managing a broad range of sales, technical and management relationships within their partner base and ensuring that the ThoughtSpot field org is mapped accordingly.
Other responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage an assigned set of ThoughtSpot Management Consulting partners and prospective partners.
- Engage in board-room-level discussions regarding how ThoughtSpot can bring value.
Skills Required
- Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with Management Consulting partners
- Proven track record of success in selling with Management Consulting Partners
- Experience bridging Enterprise Sales execs with their Management Consulting counterparts
- Proactive style, capable of hands-on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with technical, business development, sales, and executive roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to operate independently while managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Proven success with sales ability and demonstrated knowledge of sales process.
- Willing to travel to all partner activities and to ThoughtSpot corporate activities.
