Responsibilities
The scope of the proposed services will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospective, etc.
  • Provide active interfacing and teamwork with Product Owner and stakeholders
  • Help guide and establish Agile best practices and help implement the proper tools
  • Groom and maintain the backlog with the Product Owner
  • Represent team at the Scrum of Scrums meeting to report impediments for escalation
  • Facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Track and produce key metrics Requirements of the Scrum Master:
  • Experience as a full-time Scrum Master for at least 2 different teams for at least 3 years in duration
  • At least 3 years of experience facilitating Scrum sprints

This position will require the hired candidate to have advanced knowledge and experience working in the Microsoft.NET environment, in order to be able to provide competent and outstanding support for our client’s enterprise business applications.

The position will also require direct interaction with the client.

Required Skills / Experience

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM1) required
  • Thorough understanding of Scrum practices/roles
  • 3 years of mobile software development/support is required
  • Effective facilitation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for innovation and providing solutions to challenges encountered
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to work with clients to develop requirements documents and project schedules

Education

  • BS in Computer Science or very closely related IT program degree
