Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Scrum Master to join our team. The individual in this role will be responsible for coaching, guiding and optimizing our technology delivery teams in alignment with the SAFe methodology. We are seeking a candidate who has leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. We are a global technology organization in the midst of an Agile Practice transformation. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, enjoy building strategy, and have experience with collocated Agile teams leveraging SAFe, DevOps, Quality Engineering test automation and other contemporary practices. An engineering/software development skillset and background is required. This position will report to the VP of Digital and will be a member of a highly collaborative team of Digital platforms and Martech teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive the progress of platform integration and development of prioritized within the backlog, and in line with the program roadmap, from inception to roll-out
- Plan, direct and coordinate activities related to software development and testing to ensure resource, timeline and quality goals are accomplished
- Provide clear communication to cross-functional agile team leads and Program Manager, regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities.
- Proactively identify risks and issues, prioritize them, and create plans to resolve in a timely manner
- Shepherd platform integrations and code releases through the required release process
- Maintain a strong cross-functional team to establish and manage the team’s strategy and delivery against roadmap
- Push continuous improvement across the roadmap delivery and practice, driving towards Rapid, Reliable and Repeatable
- Drive and manage transparency through relevant JIRA dashboards and metrics for continuous improvement to communicate project/team health and status
- Collaborate with and support teams in delivering work in a way that builds trust across various business units
- Coordinate across projects when required to solve development challenges
- Create and facilitate a collaborative, empowered team’s progress toward ownership of customer and team satisfaction, fostering creativity and innovation
- Train, coach and evangelize teams on the Agile mindset, frameworks, and practices
- Ensure compliance with software quality engineering policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer/developer
- At least 3 years of experience in leading software development and/or quality engineering teams in some capacity
- Thorough understanding of Platform integrations, DevOps and software engineering assurance methodologies
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) with a primary focus on Agile methodologies.
- Any experience with but not limited to .Net, .Net Core, Vue.JS, Python, C# and Java script and various marketing platforms is highly desired
