Scrum Master

Located in Durham, North Carolina (NC), Piper Companies is currently looking for a Scrum Master to lead our new continuous delivery team.This is a great opportunity for a Scrum Master who is looking to be heavily involved with leadership from running the Scrum team to consistently meeting with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities for the Scrum Master include:

• Be the subject matter expert in the Scrum Process to ensure the team performs at its highest level
• Design multiple project schedules to ensure that deliverables from business and technology partners are produced and approved
• Work directly with key stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to ensure business readiness and proactively identify risks and dependencies
• Facilitate the design of solutions and develop detailed Sprint plans to implement the solutions
• Manage the project level scope schedule and budget through the project life cycle

Qualifications for the Scrum Master include:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Hands on experience in an Agile environment and preferably prior knowledge of waterfall methodology
• Coach the team to keep the project on schedule and to proactively prevent issues by identifying potential risks
• Ability to successfully communicate with key stakeholders to provide input on the companies vision and set proper project life cycle expectations
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred

Compensation for the Scrum Master include:

• Salary Range: $115,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
