Type: Contract to Hire

Job Details:

  • This resource will serve as a Scrum Master, responsible for managing deliverables & timelines for application migrations to the Azure public Cloud.
  • Coordinating, facilitating and tracking work dependencies from other IT application teams
  • Working with vendors on aligning and tracking dependencies, and coordinating weekly status
  • Working across several product owners to align on priorities and overall direction of the Cloud migration initiative
  • Running daily scrum master responsibilities
  • Facilitating daily stand-ups
  • Facilitating and documenting grooming activities
  • Continually updating product backlog and adjusting priorities
  • Creating and distributing daily and weekly status
  • Tracking Sprint progress
  • This will require being able to Project Manage several individual projects and workstreams simultaneously
  • This resource will work with multiple product teams, vendors and application teams

Responsibilities and Duties
Required skills/experience:

  • Experience with the Agile Scrum delivery methodology.
  • Experience with backlog management and application lifecycle management systems (Azure DevOps is preferred, JIRA or HPALM etc. would be acceptable)
  • Understanding of SDLC, IT Operations, Information Security, Database and Networking
  • Experience with PM discipline and ability to effectively manage Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies

Required Experience and Qualifications
Preferred (nice to have) skills/experience education:

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate in team/group settings
  • Ability to lead project working teams in a positive way
  • Experience with Cloud technology Experience with migrating from on-premise to Cloud
  • Experience with Cloud technology (Azure is preferred)
  • Experience with Network Infrastructure build and/or migration projects
  • Experience with Server Virtualization projects
  • Experience with Software development and deployment projects (including application environment build, web-based and service integration)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $45.00 to $50.00 /hour

Experience:

  • Project Manager: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Scrum Master: 1 year (Preferred)
