Essential Duties of Project Manager:
- Review customer RFQ specifications thoroughly and understand what is required for quotations.
- Create detailed bid sheets and formal quotations for Oil and Gas production equipment.
- Schedule bid reviews with President before submitting to outside sales and/or customer.
- Work with engineering/drafting to design economical packages.
- Enter sales data into ERP system and ensure invoice(s) are sent out 24 hours after PO is received.
- Source and purchase materials for projects as competitive as possible and arrange delivery based on project timelines.
- Long leads must be approved by customer and ordered 48 hours after receipt of PO.
- Schedule Internal kickoff meetings after construction prints are finalized with Production Manager, QA/QC Manager, Department Managers and President.
- Review projects on the floor daily to ensure customer specifications, completion dates and overall quality expectations are met.
- Send out weekly project updates to customer and third-party inspectors.
- Perform factory acceptance tests with Production Manager, customers and their inspectors if applicable.
- Meet or exceed quoted profit margins.
- Work and communicate with Production Manager, QA/QC, Account Managers and President on a daily basis making sure they have what they need to succeed in their duties, including but not limited to (Project updates, scheduling, purchasing, testing and fabrication).
- Keep records of all quotes, projects and customer specifications.
- Maintain customer communication and scheduling through entire project and afterwards.
- Maintain current customer data base and ensure customer is happy with our service and sales.
- Willingness to be flexible with job duties.
- Come in early and/or stay late as workload dictates.
Qualifications of Project Manager:
- 2+ years of oil and gas production equipment manufacturing, design and or procurement experience
- Strong analytical and skills and quick learner
- Great customer service
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- MS Office, Excel and Word proficient
- Fabricated equipment sales is a plus
Compensation
- On target earnings of $120,000+ (Base and Commission) depending on experience and individual drive
- 401K with 4% company match after six months
