About the position:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the customer & our organization. In short, help create ideas and oversee the process of turning those ideas into a product people will buy.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defines project scope, goals and deliverables
- Sets tasks and required resources needed to meet goals of the customer
- Meets with Sales Representatives and Art Director to review & recommend design solutions that meet customer requirements for sizing, styling, costing and production deadlines.
- Works closely with Sourcing/Purchasing team to ensure quality and cost parameters are being met on raw materials
- Make sure regulations are followed for labels and SDSâs
- Creates schedule and project timeline; tracking deliverables
- Oversees, reviews and prepares mock-up samples for presentations
- Conduct weekly meetings to monitor & report on project process by presenting updates on progress as well as problems and solutions
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project goals
- Introduces new products to market by preparing return-on-investment analysis and establishing timeline to engineer and manufacture the idea
- Creates strong and effective internal partnerships and collaborates across the business; listens and values the opinions of others
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
- Supports team effort by pitching in at any level and effectively working across the organization to meet the needs of the business.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelorâs degree required
- Experience in project management; certification preferred
- Proficiency with project management software tools
- Design skills and marketing abilities
- Analytical strength to assess market data and evaluate product strategy
- Strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written communication
- Must have high energy & strong sense of urgency to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player and ability to collaborate with various department of our organization
