Rapidly growing, results-driven tech organization opening 80,000 sq ft production refurbishing operation in the Irving area. Unique opportunity to start from the inception of a production facility and build your own team from scratch! Seeking experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to manage areas of shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, and production. Train and develop employees and determine best practices for future initiatives and improved work procedures by performing the duties below. The ideal candidate will be a passionate, hands-on leader who operates with integrity, is results driven while providing a positive influence to others, has a strong business acumen that embraces change and possesses a continuous improvement mentality.
General Overview of Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall production operation for the facility.
  • Hire and manage a team of approximately 40 associates.
  • Manage the daily production meetings to determine production requirements for the upcoming week, and to plan set up changes and timing to ensure customer delivery dates are met at all times.
  • Directly contributes to synergies between warehouse, sales and logistics.
  • Review orders to make decisions concerning recertifying requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering headcount and budgetary limitations and time constraints.
  • Promotes a culture of performance.
  • Promotes a positive safety culture through leadership by example; demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment areas, and ensure all staff is trained.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and put away strategy.
  • Manage pick, pack, and ship operations.
  • Manage UV printing for custom orders.

Skills Needed for Success:

  • 3 Year College diploma in operations/logistics studies or three to four years related experience working with computer hardware and supervising employees; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Need to be detail oriented and possess effective communication skills written and oral. Ability to work in a team environment is essential. Exceptional customer service skills as a must.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of logistics and warehouse management. 5S experience a plus. Ability to motivate and develop employees is a must.
  • Strong analytical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on accountability and results
