Event Coordinator/Sales Director-
- Booking Member and Nonmember weddings, Holiday Parties, Birthday Parties, Large business meeting groups, & other large events.
- Responsible for meeting with group coordinator/event hosts prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure all arrangements are agreed upon, set-up, food and beverage needs, meeting needs.
- Read and analyze banquet event order in order to gather guest information, determine proper set up, specific guests needs, etc.
- Work with banquet team- responsible for the execution and delivery of all large events (nonmember and member), maximize revenue, utilization of meeting space.
- Respond within 24 hours to any inquiries for space/rates.
- Marketing for events (nonmember and member), continuously updating Facebook (all social media), Burge websites.
- Make sure Banquet Event Orders are issued and distributed on time- Prepare proposals, contracts, invoices.
- Tours with clients, inspecting set up prior to events- Get feedback from host/guest after events and distribute to appropriate staff.
- Requirements- Excellent communication skillsknowledgeable at negotiating and sales, confident at presenting facility and information. Must be flexible to accommodate irregular or extended hours duties. Minimum of 1 to 2 years work experience as Event Coordinator in Club. Minimum of 3 days in office totaling at least 15 hours in the office.
- Position is part-time but may become full time.
