Job Summary
Your responsibility will be directing the overall sales and marketing efforts of the Hotel. In this role, you will evaluate revenue-generating opportunities, source new business accounts, and maintain existing accounts of the Hotel with a specific focus on extended-stay guests. Our expectation that is you meet revenue and average length-of-stay budgets, maintain exceptional relationships with key accounts, and promote the Hotel as a premier destination for corporate and leisure extended-stay guests.
Immediate Supervisor
You will report directly to the General Manager and/or any other designated representative of Liberty.
Responsibilities
Focus on the Liberty mission statement for all sales and marketing decisions. Maintain high personal visibility throughout the hotel and interact with guests on a daily basis and develop new programs to increase guest retention and recruitment.
Manage overall sales & marketing activities internally and externally at the Hotel.
Establish, create, and execute marketing campaigns including marketing media, print media, and social networking media and collateral.
Track all direct sales and marketing efforts booked and consumed revenue with a specific focus on extended-stay guests.
Make off-site visits to all locally negotiated accounts and key accounts as necessary.
Train all Hotel associates on sales and marketing and how to assist you in qualifying new leads, tracking guest consumption, and sourcing new accounts for you to pursue.
Frequently interact with your general manager, revenue manager, Liberty corporate personnel, and brand representatives. Attend revenue management meetings to ensure cohesiveness in planning and rate strategies.
Participate in regional brand meetings with the general managers as required. Represent the Hotel at industry events and speaking engagements.
Provide Liberty with detailed sales summary report comparing property performance, SWOT analysis, and recommendations for the hotels on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Prepare monthly a sales action plan and ensure constant follow up to facilitate goal attainment.
Market to tour groups, local and national accounts, corporate accounts, and establish relationships to foster reoccurring revenue growth.
Ensure Hotel sales, promotions and advertising programs are consistent with the established objectives of sales volume and profitability.
Develop and maintain active relationships with competitors through professional and industry associations to maintain awareness of competitorsâ services, facilities, position, and to develop sales leads.
Maintain and manipulate Hotel websites and all third-party internet sites (both opaque and transparent). Respond to Internet reviews and comments within 24 hours. Respond to all RFPs and sales leads within 24 hours.
Understand and manipulate the PMS systems intimately and coordinate with the General Manager to ensure room availability and optimal rate & yield management.
Coordinate effective feedback and communication with Liberty and participate in special assignments as required.

Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
