Position Summary:
This position will manage a set of customer accounts to help drive a high level of satisfaction, successful product use, and retention. The person in this role will serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, understand customer success criteria, address questions, resolve issues and serve as a trusted Conservis advisor. To accomplish this, the individual in this position will need to have a proven track record of Software as a Service (SaaS) account management, maintaining high customer renewal rates through ongoing customer engagement, technical leadership and outstanding communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in onboarding of customer accounts with customers, ensuring strong adoption and ongoing engagement throughout the customer’s lifetime
- Execute a comprehensive engagement and communications strategy that proactively maintains high customer satisfaction
- Perform periodic customer success reviews that confirm satisfaction, resolve issues with the help of the Technical Support team, and expand Conservis use throughout the account
- Proactively track usage patterns to gain insights, provide guidance and increase customer satisfaction
- Educate and promote best practices for leveraging Conservis products and services
- Report to management to provide insight into the current state of the customer relationship on assigned accounts
- Develop tools, processes and best practices to ensure customers are receiving maximum return on their investment in Conservis
- Work closely with the Sales team to share customer insights that inform additional product and service sales opportunities
- Achieve high subscription renewal rates for assigned customer portfolio through diligent and proactive communication and customer experience management
Training or Experience
- Proven ability to maintain highly valuable and outcome-based relationships with a customer account base
- Ability to build credibility and trust by understanding customer requirements and addressing their needs
- Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills
- Passion for working with leading edge, web-based technologies and a desire to deeply understand Conservis’ benefits, use cases, and business and technical elements
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end users in the agriculture industry
- Willing to travel up to 30% of the time based on customer and business need
- Experience with CRM systems such as SalesForce or Zoho
- Microsoft Suite skills required
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management or customer service within the software industry
- SaaS account management experience is a plus
Working Environment
Work is typically performed in a normal office environment. Position requires light physical effort, handling of objects up to 10 pounds, and some standing or walking.
