Community Project Manager

About the role:
- As a Community Project Manager, you will act as the main point for residents and property management staff at the time of installations. Lead community meetings to educate about SmartRent products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead community presentations to educate residents / staff on SmartRent’s technological offerings.
- Train local staff basic troubleshooting, maintenance and upkeep of SmartRent products/software.
- Setting up and managing an engagement plan for your portfolio of clients
- Prioritizing client needs/requests
- Working with the field team to proactively plan schedules for onsite projects
- Constant communication/collaboration with sales, field managers, support, product team, and developers – you will be the voice of the client
- Having regular conversations with clients to understand any pain points, as well as what will make their SmartRent experience successful
- Identifying and tasking issues which require involvement from Computer Engineers, General Contractors, and Internal Stakeholders
- Managing some billing and sales related requests
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a customer-facing environment
- 1 year of experience in training, team lead or management role
- Desire to travel and engage with new people
- Tech savvy
- Ability to present / speak in public
- Hands on experience with training new customers on software
- Prior experience with face-to-face client meetings
- Experience with and a skill for de-escalating situations
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
- Willingness to travel to clients and provide in-person training/support, along with ensuring that SmartRent standards are being met onsite at a project
- The ability to write about technical subjects clearly and in an engaging style
- The enthusiasm, patience, and organization required to handle multiple client requests effectively
- An excellent work ethic and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Property Management, Customer Service and Hospitality
- Technical understanding of how smart home devices work and how to install them
- Hands on experience in a technical support capacity while supporting customers using an Enterprise Hardware/Software or SaaS Solution
- Mac Literate
