About Our Internship Program:
Here at Amway, our interns develop through real world experience and are assigned meaningful projects that challenge and allow for personal growth. All Interns receive project support and on-going performance feedback from a person advisor and hiring manager. Amway hosts over 80+ interns each summer and offers programming events designed to assist navigating Amway culture, making the most of a summer internship, and building a successful career. The program provides exposure to a breadth of career fields and provides unique opportunities to learn business acumen, work cross-functionally and showcase their skillsets directly to hiring managers and executives.
Internship Eligibility:
This job posting is for our summer 2020 Internship Program (May – August); qualified candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and one semester or more left of school to complete at the beginning of their internship. Candidates who have graduated are not eligible to intern.

Internship Job Title: IT Scrum Master Internship
What is special about this team: You’ll be a key member of an Agile team that is redefining the commerce experience throughout North America.
How would an intern contribute to the team’s success: You’ll have the opportunity to join an agile squad and learn Scrum practices, ceremonies, and artifacts. You will co-lead (with an experienced ScrumMaster) processes for the team writing Epics and Features as part of commerce product development, and making that work ready for development.
An example of a typical project is: Amway is transitioning its way of working to cross-functional Agile product capability squads. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a product team and write a piece of functionality and prioritize it in the context of other work to be done, manage the backlog for the squad (pieces of ready work to send to a development team), and work with the development team through the process of creating a user experience, microservices, and the necessary automation (testing, monitoring) to ensure a quality solution is ready to be deployed to production.
What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship?
Desired Skills: Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Desired Degree: B.A. or B.S. – Program Management, Computer Science, Information Systems.
