As an experienced professional in Project Execution, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture – namely, how can technology help achieve business goals – as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs that are broadly applicable. Once you and your team establish a roadmap, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring that ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you’ll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration and promote the values, culture and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Our Corporate Technology team relies on smart, driven people like you to develop applications and provide tech support for all our corporate functions across our network. Your efforts will touch lives all over the financial spectrum and across all our divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and within the Corporate Administrative Office. You’ll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda.

  • Key focus on driving strategic Machine Learning programs for the organization
  • Hands on management initiatives and projects:
    • Creating and maintaining detailed plans with dates and deliverables
    • Escalating issues and risks
    • Strongly and clearly communicating project progress and overall status reporting
    • Proactively defining and offering solutions to issues
    • Managing timeline, scope and milestone delivery
  • Structure quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analysis; Identify implications of data and analysis with the team; Prioritizing issues, analysis, and solution creation
  • Analyze operational and financial (program budget and planning) data
  • Evaluate business process and re-engineering processes, implement new process and drive execution and delivery on those
  • Working collaboratively with team members across line of business and cross functional teams. Ability to drive and facilitate discussions and activities across functional teams.
  • Create concise high quality reports, presentations/ power point deck, communication materials for senior management. Articulate key messages in high quality visual PowerPoint presentations
  • Own and coordinate weekly meetings with scrum team and business stakeholders to track and report status
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
  • Diverse problem solving experience, such as with a top management consulting firm or in other PMO, process re-engineering areas within technology environments across financial services sectors
  • “Own” overall project success, direct strategic thinking and approach, quickly identify most critical aspects of problem and appropriate solutions within the applicable constraints
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with senior executives, team members and peers; build relationships, and obtain required information from partners at all levels; assessing needs, understanding requirements and syndicate solutions
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to take action / facilitate buy-in of recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating skills to create, structure new initiatives and deliver on the agenda
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills: ability to handle multiple mid to large project assignments simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), work well in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to think creatively and have flexibility; ability to work independently; highly motivated, self-starter; Positive, pro-active, can-do attitude and strong control mind-set
  • Produce project materials that are on target, on time and of the highest quality standards
  • Sound knowledge of Agile methodologies, project lifecycle and ceremonies
