B3 Group Inc, a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in health IT and PMO support for the federal government, is looking for multiple experienced Scrum Master/Sr. Business Analysts to support a large scale initiative within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). A B3 Sr. Business Analyst will have experience in the analysis of business and information environments, activities, and events. They will have deep knowledge of data analysis, trend finding, patterns, and be able to identify risks and offer solutions for improving processes that will improve overall project performance. They will be able to gather requirements, recommend and implement improvements to the project and deliver substantial value to the B3 customers and team members. As a B3 Sr. Analyst, they will provide assistance as necessary to the Program Manager, may oversee a team of people, and provide coaching/mentoring to junior team members. A B3 Sr. Analyst will demonstrate pro-activeness, an eagerness to learn, good attitude, collaboration, more expertise of skill set area, developing management/mentoring of junior team members abilities.
As a Scrum Master, this role will support multiple projects of medium to large scale through all sprints/iterations and phases of the project. They will organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events. They will also track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management. Must be CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master).
Telecommute will be considered.
In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors Degree required in Computer Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline, OR a minimum of 8 years equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Requires at least 5 years of experience in similar role, preferably with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Requires at least 5 years of experience with Agile methodology as a Scrum Master. Must have related certification (CSM or PSM).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearance.
- Strongly prefer previous experience with the following: Healthshare, SOAP UI, EHR (electronic health records) and/or HIE (health information exchange) experience.
- Experience adapting to new technologies is a plus.
- Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, technical documentation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead/work within a dynamic team environment.
Desired / Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs and/or other federal organizations.
- Strongly prefer Healthshare or similar experience.
