H2 is seeking a Scrum Master (Logistics Systems) possessing an ACTIVE Secret Clearance to support our government client in Stafford, VA. The Scrum Master shall provide support to the Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC), PMW 230, who supports the modernization and sustainment of Marine Corps supply and maintenance functions through the development of a web-based common user interface that provides an integrated and distributed logistics capability enabling leaders to effectively plan, manage, execute, and monitor logistics operations from both a garrison and a forward deployed environment.

The Scrum Master responsibilities include:

  • Provide guidance in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe; lead Agile delivery teams to deliver value consistently.
  • Work with the Government and development teams to institute and integrate Agile framework concepts into Release anagement activities and processes.
  • Plan and facilitate Program Increment planning.
  • Facilitate Scrum meetings; generate key metrics (e.g., burn-down, burn-up charts, flow diagrams).
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Governance boards, such as Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Change Control Board.
  • Define the Services and underpinning Service Assets and Configuration Items (CIs); implement/maintain a Configuration Management process for maintaining data as aligned to services within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Manage Request for Change (RFC) processes, standardize processes, and identify, prioritize, plan, schedule, and monitor implementation.

Education, Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 4+ years’ experience leading Agile teams as Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology, specifically SAFe
  • Skilled in project management and engineering technical management techniques, principles, and practices
  • Skilled in project management and engineering technical management techniques, principles, and practices
  • Ability to work independently and within a technical team environment with geographically dispersed team members
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience designing and implementing a cross-platform CM framework
  • Experience with forming and/or running Governance Boards

Skills Desired:

  • ITIL Foundations certification
  • Project Management Professional certification
  • Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs
