At this time a Scrum Master is needed for leading the Agile team and development partners with a well-defined Agile customized software development life cycle process. This includes processing definition, Agile Scrum based software development, hybrid agile based module development along with cross functional communication, software technical project management, requirements traceability, source code control, test case management and defect tracking. Represents the team at release level to report status of multiple Agile feature teams to leadership.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Implement processes, practices, and tools allow for multiple paths of delivery, i.e., create simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible methodologies
  • Guide the Agile software development initiatives through coaching and mentoring
  • Coach and mentor the development team to facilitate adoption and maturity of Agile processes
  • Inspire others to adopt the new processes and improvements based on program retrospectives
  • Detailed knowledge of development of test cases
  • Agile technical project management of multiple software releases
  • Work across multiple technical teams to develop Agile solutions
  • Organize and execute software team training, mentoring, and Agile Sprint Ceremonies.
  • Work with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket to support multiple code stream collaboration, and CI/CD
  • Strives to enforce and live the NAE Philosophy of CQSE each and every day
  • Other duties as requested and assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related technical field
  • 2+ years of associated work experience as a Scrum Master within a well-defined Agile customized software development environment
  • CSM or ACP certification is highly desirable
  • Advanced skills in Jira and Confluence, including workflow
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and the ability to communicate effectively with End User Clients, IT executives, Project Managers, and development teams.
  • Practical application ability with Microsoft Office and Visio
  • Detailed analytical abilities
  • Strong experience in user testing and project management

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Ability to frequently sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Ability to spend extended hours in front of a computer screen and use close vision, distant vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
