POSITION OVERVIEW

Project Managers (PM) and Sr. Project Managers (SPM) are industry experts in their focus areas of restoration or construction. PMs and SPMs are local, regional, and perhaps national BELFOR resources for large projects, complex projects, and high‐risk‐high profile environments. They serve on BELFOR CAT teams following hurricanes and other regionalized damage recovery efforts. PMs and SPMs are eligible to become BELFOR Estimators.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years industry experience. Sales Experience-understands opportunity to upgrade, sell. PMs and SPMs are role models for Superintendents and BELFOR employees on their projects. They are sought after by estimators and managers for their professionalism, leadership, and competence. PMs and SPMs have a thorough understanding of all BELFOR service lines and are proficient at identifying and selling additional services on their projects.

COMPETENCIES

COMMUNICATION: English language literacy and fluency. PMs and SPMs are the key BELFOR contact on their projects. Estimators and others are relieved from attending to daily and weekly project interaction. Computer proficiency – Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

PROJECT AND SUPERVISION: PMs and SPMs with a restoration focus have advanced understanding of water and fire damage, mold, hazardous materials, books and documents, and electronics services. They are qualified as OJT and classroom trainers. Those with a construction focus are a resource for building codes and applicable local, state, and national regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year
