Onerent is a Silicon Valley-based real estate technology and service company disrupting the $100B/year residential property management industry. We’ve built a centralized model for managing rental properties across 800 zip codes, serving over 10,000 homeowners and 50,000 renters in our five years since founding. We’ve built an end-to-end logistics and supply chain platform, enabling us to offer consumers a much more convenient solution at price parity with the incumbents.
We’ve raised $15M from a number of investors including Google’s Chief of AI, Former Century 21 CEO Bob Moles, XG Ventures, Renren, Far East Organization (Singapore’s largest real estate developer), and numerous Google legal and engineering executives. We have 300+ team members distributed across our US and international operations. We’re currently serving the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside and Orange Counties with plans to be in 25+ markets domestically in the next 2 years.
We’re building out a world-class market expansion team and as the Head of Markets, you’ll have a foundational role in building out our new market strategy, business development team, and launch operations. This role works cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Sales. You will be expected to analyze, identify, and execute on new market expansion opportunities–spearheading the execution of launching into a new region.
*What You’ll Do
- Drive the business strategy behind Onerent’s geographic expansion
- Oversee market research to identify key new markets for expansion
- Determine strategic market-entry plan, including sales, business development, marketing, and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with SVP Operations and Field Ops teams to ensure proper deployment of local resources into new markets on expected timelines.
- Manage a boots-on-the-ground business development team and initiatives
- Travel to new markets for events, customer engagement, and team development
- Act as a team builder and mentor. Hire, train and develop a high-performing team to lead campaign execution, optimization & analysis
Who You Are
- Experience in residential real estate, financial services, or logistics tech/services
- 5 years of people management experience
- Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking
