Petra Properties is seeking a dynamic General Manager to manage our unique real estate portfolio. While prior real estate experience is a plus we are more interested in a candidate who has a proven track record of managing multiple priorities, is self directed and enjoys a hands on management approach.

Responsibilities :
* Manage Net Operating Profit by scrutinizing every expense from light bulbs to insurance policies and property taxes. You’ll be responsible for negotiating with vendors and contractors, reviewing insurance policies and reviewing all vendor contracts. You’ll inspect the work of contractors and subs as well as reviewing all invoices to insure that work was completed to our satisfaction prior to payment.

* Maintain Petra Properties as “best in class” through a comprehensive preventative maintenance program. Our expectation is that your background and experience will add value to our current program.

* Our general manager is the “public face” of Petra Properties. Often times you will be the first point of contact with a prospective resident and their last point of contact as they turn their keys back to Petra Properties.

Skills/Qualifications:
Word, Excel, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, strong negotiating skills, prior military experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
