- The Director of New Customer Accounts is responsible for managing Metro Techs national HVAC service accounts and providing exceptional service to meet our client SLAs. This position requires the ability to build and maintain relationships with our clients through all medians of interaction, including in person visits, and effectively grow the accounts. The Director of New Customer Accounts will be responsible for financial analytics and forecasting on all assigned accounts to drive profitability. The position requires the ability to work with Sales on the transition of new accounts and growing of existing accounts.
- Individuals must be able to monitor account status and escalate issues prior to customer escalation. Executive Account Managers will be responsible for their team’s performance and developing Account Managers and Assistant Account Managers to progress in their careers.
- Responsibilities and Duties
- Be the primary point of contact for assigned MetroTech Accounts.
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external parties
- Responsible for the successful delivery of high-quality service to assigned MetroTech Accounts
- Understand MSA and contract documents associated with assigned MetroTech Accounts
- Forecast and Track key account metrics
- Look for opportunities to drive value add service in Asset Management and Capitol Expense optimization
- Work with sales team to onboard and integrate new clients
- Direct the work and actively manage all operations associated with assigned MetroTech Accounts
- Actively interface with Dispatch, Service Management, and Field Services to ensure client SLAs are delivered against MT contractual requirements
- Manage assigned accounts against SLA and Customer Contribution Margin (P&L)
- Manage customer SLA and provide feedback as an advisor on customers HVAC spend
- Responsible for growing accounts, meeting and improving as sold Gross Margin for entire portfolio
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree, Masters a plus but not required.
3-5 years’ experience in Account Management
Previous HVAC, Refrigeration and Facilities Manager Experience required
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
Strong people skills and ability to work well within a Team
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills
High Energy
Financial analytics and forecasting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Position Type and Expected Hours
This is a full-time position based at the Metro Tech office in Schaumburg, IL; hours are based on the critical needs of the operation. Overtime will be required as business needs arise.
