WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading assigned projects/product teams to deliver high impact, high value outcomes, while staying within identified constraints for budget, scope, and schedule. You will support the team on their understanding of Agile and ensure delivery of a product. A key aspect of the role is to teach the team agile practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments and shield them from external distractions. You will also be a personal coach for team members and an innovator who constantly seek continuous improvement and builds high performing teams. In this role you will:
- Deliver desired outcomes of assigned project(s)/product teams.
- Manage team progress, timelines, budget, and ensure highest-value deliverables are being appropriately prioritized.
- Manage multiple projects or workstreams, own schedules, outline key milestones, traffic deliverables, identify risks and solutions, and deliver specific project artifacts.
- Lead the identification, management, and mitigation of highest risks, especially those related to business risk or potential business disruption.
- Effectively communicate status of deliverables, risks and issues, and escalate for resolution when appropriate.
- Build and coach high performing teams
- Look for ways to strengthen teams understanding of Agile / Scrum concepts and principles
- Ensure teams actions are aligned with the project goals / vision
- Bring transparency to Business and IT organization about development and grow trust
- Identify trade-offs between short and long term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner
- Foster a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect & adapt
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of work experience with Agile and Scrum
- Digital Marketing and Product Management background
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, processes, workflows, and terminology.
- Demonstrated drive to successfully deliver product outcomes within constraints and guidelines with proven ability and experience in successfully managing multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
- Experience with early risk identification, problem solving and mitigation planning
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization and with external partners and vendors
- Team Leadership – Experienced in assessing how the team is doing and drive necessary actions to improve. Able to develop and foster teamwork and facilitate team dynamics
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor team all roles on a Scrum team
WHAT’S NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in consumer food industry considered a plus, especially in Digital Marketing and/or Product Management
- Business and technical acumen
- Experience with project management tools and software (VSTS, Smartsheets, Sharepoint)
- Certified Scrum Practioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) preferred
