    Established Custom Home Building Company in the Charlotte and Lake Norman Area is seeking to add an experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager. Custom Home Building and Large-Scale Home Remodeling Experience required. Commercial Upfit Management Experience Preferred.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage homebuilding construction through all phases to ensure the delivery of quality homes that meet both company and customer expectations on time and on budget in multiple communities.
    • Supervise construction activities in assigned communities
    • Manage trade contractors to sequentially complete contracted scopes of work
    • Regulate inspection schedules and interact with local inspectors
    • Maintain clean and safe worksite as well as enforce all safety/OSHA policies and regulations
    • Enforce Company’s quality standards and product specifications
    • Visit homes daily to identify areas for attention and contact appropriate subcontractors
    • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and related representatives
    • Maintain curb appeal of community entries, monuments, models, spec inventory and community as a whole
    • Manage homebuyer/homeowner relationship and new home orientations, conduct walk-throughs
    • Maintain interior appearance of projects, models, and spec inventory
    • Keep manager informed of schedules, issues etc
    • Manage project budgets and control costs by eliminating repetitive mistakes and curbing overages

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of relevant building codes and all scopes of work
    • Strong knowledge of home construction and large scale remodeling
    • Ability to read, understand, and implement architectural and structural blueprints
    • Expertise in construction management software
    • Proficient in software applications that include Outlook, Excel, Word, etc
    • Superior communication skills
    • HIghly organized
