About the Role: We are seeking a Business Process Manager – Supply Chain Planning for our facility in Elkton, Maryland. This role is focused on developing and managing a specific process or set of business processes, and the data created or transformed through them. This individual may lead a team of Business Process & Data Stewards who manage data, act as liaisons between the associates performing the processes, and those who are responsible for configuring IT platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Divisional Planning employees to understand functional priorities and needs
  • Developing, streamlining, and/or automating business process improvements for supply chain Planning, to drive and support efficiencies
  • Identifying and leveraging external view of Planning business processes and interpret for internal use
  • Leading business process assessment and sustainment activities
  • Identifying the need for, and helping develop, data policies, processes, and standards
  • Being accountable for data quality, associated metrics, and ensuring compliance to policies and standards
  • Transforming data into information that can be used to develop plans and enable business decision-making
  • Developing and leading a cross divisional and multi-regional team of supply chain Planning business process and data stewards
  • Partnering with other Business Process Managers to help manage the E2E Planning business processes
  • Partnering with Enterprise Data Management and Business Process support teams to ensure business process and data needs are identified, planned and met

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree and a minimum 5 years’ experience with Planning function and business processes (including relevant aspects of product life cycle management and product data management
  • Demonstrated knowledge and comprehensive understanding of supply chain Planning, such as Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Collaborative Planning, Production Planning and Scheduling, and Capacity
  • Prior experience working in and/or implementing ERP, SCM tools, MRP, or other Planning-related IT systems
  • Prior experience with governance processes to make decisions, identify risks, and drive issues to resolution
  • Awareness and understanding of business process classification frameworks (like APQC)
  • Familiarity with APICS body of knowledge
  • Knowledge of SCOR framework, data flows between IT-related systems, and product life cycle management
  • General understanding of Manufacturing, Accounting, Logistics and Warehouse Management
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership capability and accomplished project management skills
  • Aptitude for performing detail-oriented work and strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain Management or related Business discipline
  • Prior use of Visio or ARIS Express
  • Capable of mapping business processes
