As a Business Development Manager, your focus will be on the various public/private sector markets and prospects across a variety of industries/verticals; including legal, medical, social service, manufacturing, logistics, non-profits/organizations, and more! Experience in the sales, fitness, wellness, business development field is preferred, but not mandatory.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a full understanding of the capabilities, benefits and competitive advantages of 6.0 CW services.
- Develop prospective clients through several strategies including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories and business to business.
- Build client relationships across existing and new companies
- Set and manage client expectations while consulting with each client for best practices
- Manage and lead regional business development activities to generate new revenue
- Create effective approaches to closing new business
- Set-up and attend business meetings
- Identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities
- Engage in understanding clientsâ industries, business needs and company culture to work strategically with your client and support their growth
- Identify opportunities and contacts that will lead to growing your book of business and expanding our partnership with clients in a strategic way
- Provide customer support and manage client expectations
- Promote and educate clients regarding 6.0 CW services
- Formulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Source and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)
- Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service and engaging them by using knowledge of each industry and organization
- Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process
- Travel (including conferences, client meetings)
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Experience in consultative sales with an emphasis on sales or consulting directly to industry firms and corporations.
- Proven sales life cycle experience – lead generation through business closing
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and other necessary calculations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Management and experience in building sales teams a plus

Salary: $38,616.00 to $96,685.00 /year
