Purpose
- Many healthcare settings in international countries currently do not have the necessary supporting capital equipment or accessories necessary to provide key Boston Scientific treatments to patients.
- This role will be responsible to define the global equipment needs, by region, and implementing solutions so our customers have access to this equipment.
Responsibilities
- Identify country-specific equipment needs to support upcoming product launches.
- Define optimal strategies and lead projects to offer equipment to customers in each country.
- Coordinate and track key activities in conjunction with business leadership to ensure timely completion.
- Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules for all projects and maintain program-level view.
- Effectively lead project teams ensuring good cross-functional communications and provide input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
- Ensure current BSC policies and practices are followed and accurate documentation requirements are followed.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Demonstrated experience planning, managing and completing projects of moderate complexity
- Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g. Military, community volunteer activities, leadership role (preferably in Medical Devices))
- Leading, energizing and coaching cross-functional teams
- Manage project execution to deliver cost, schedule, performance, and verification of results
- Co-create project plan: timeline, resource needs, and budget
- Managing customer / stakeholder expectations from peers to senior management
- Communicates and presents to groups from peers to senior management
Preferred Qualifications
- Project / Process Experience: New Product Development (NPD), commercialization, Acquisitions, Capital Equipment/Service, Quality System/Regulation and/or Technology development
- Experience with project intake and prioritization processes
- Lead teams through challenges
- Influences and motivates others over whom they have no direct control or authority
- Communication: ability to effectively interface with Sr. Management
- Customer: direct customer facing experience, solid understanding of customer’s business process and environment
- Aware of industry standards / best practices
