Vice President – Controller

Job Description Bedrock is seeking a motivated, organized and driven experienced Controller to join our team. This position will be responsible for and lead financial reporting, operational accounting (including Revenue, A/P, A/R, JIB) and treasury as well as implementing and maintaining internal controls. This position will report to the EVP – Business Development and Finance and will manage a group of 12+ accountants. Key Responsibilities  Support and collaborate with the executive team and financial sponsor for efficient and effective operations  Manage all aspects of the accounting department including Revenue, A/P, A/R, JIB, Financial and Operational Reporting as well as Treasury  Lead analytical reviews for all areas of accounting and resolve any identified issues  Oversee the month-end accounting close process  Guide the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements  Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals  Work closely with the finance department to (1) establish short term cash projections and optimize borrowings and paydowns under the credit facility and (2) develop budget and update forecast for actuals  Integrate acquired assets into systems and processes  Communicate effectively with various levels of professionals inside and outside the organization  Document and maintain accounting policies and internal controls documentation Qualifications & Skills  Bachelor’s or higher degree  Minimum of 10 years accounting experience  CPA certification  Extensive knowledge of US GAAP  Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills  Accuracy and attention to detail  Advanced knowledge of preparation of financial accounting statements and notes  Expertise in overseeing general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process  Exposure to all areas of operational accounting, including Revenue, A/P, A/R, JIB  Advanced Excel skills Hands-on, highly motivated, possesses a strong work ethic and is willing to “get in the weeds”  Demonstrates high level of flexibility, adaptability and multi-tasking to meet deadlines  Must be a team player  Experience with Quorum is a plus Interested candidates should apply to jobs@bedrockep.com Bedrock Production, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Qualified applicants are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity national origin, age, disability, status as a protected veteran, or other characteristics protected by law.
