RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Richardson, Texas. Senior Vice President role within Consumer Technology. Job duties include: serve as the US Savings Customer Care technology program lead for Marcus by Goldman Sachs; work daily with the US Savings Customer Care technology product owner and the development teams to prioritize and deliver business requirements for the US Savings Customer Care Center; end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of financial applications; design, develop, test and maintain US Savings Customer Care technology applications; and provide technical and career guidance to junior team members.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field. Ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a related software development position. Prior experience must include ten (10) years of experience with: micro-services architecture design and development including Java using communication protocols (such as REST); producer/consumer messaging technology design and development such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or equivalent; working with persistence technologies including relational or NoSQL databases such as Sybase, HDFS, or MongoDb; utilizing communication protocols like SOAP and data formats like XML; Software Development Life Cycle management including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; using tools, such as GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins or equivalent, to manage and deploy code to various environments; programming in the Linux environment; interacting with multiple stakeholders and developers across multiple regions to manage development projects and business initiatives; maintaining software systems in production environment to provide ongoing support with production issues; and working concurrently on multiple development projects under tight deadlines and prioritizing action items. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: web technologies User Interface development including HTML and Javascript; and using lightweight data-interchange formats including JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with: working in Scrum (Agile) setting to elicit and manage requirements from Product Owner to develop working software; and Front-end web application development with ReactJS and state management with Redux.
