Summary:
The VBC Director of Product Management will lead companywide development of customer solutions in Value-Based Care. This role will have primary ownership of the company’s value proposition to VBC provider organizations (ACOs, FQHCs, IPAs, CINs, etc.) and share responsibility for achieving growth goals of LabCorp’s nearly $1 billion a year VBC market segment. The Director will manage the product pipeline and lead the VBC team in defining, developing, packaging, and launching solutions that generate revenue and facilitate contracting. The Director will be a member of the Hospital Health System (HHS) leadership team and work closely with VBC Sales, VBC Analytics, Managed Care, Divisional leadership, and product partners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the product pipeline and leads the VBC team in developing customer solutions that generate revenue and facilitate contracting.

Oversees and manages customer driven process to define, develop, deliver and package products and programs to the market including:
- Insight Analytics
- Clinical Decision Support
- Care Gap Solutions
- Laboratory Data Feeds
- Point-of-Care EMR delivery apps (external and internal)
- VBC financial partnership models
- CMS Care Management programs
- VBC patient engagement programs
- Specialty test offerings
- Clinical trials options
- Develops VBC strategic plan and define value proposition for VBC organizations.
- Supports VBC marketing and communications efforts.
- Provides sales training and support.
Requirements
- BS degree, required
- Master’s degree in business or health administration, a plus.
- A broad skillset and more than 10 years’ experience in areas including leadership, product management, financial modeling, information technology, laboratory testing, and driving multi-discipline project teams is required for success.
- Knowledge of LabCorp’s organization and operational infrastructure preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in Value-based care contracting preferred.
- Master’s degree in business or health administration also a plus.
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Displays confidence, strong interpersonal skills, and leadership.
- Strong analytical skills for developing business cases and evaluating internal account profitability.
- Innovative thinker with ability to develop solutions for meeting customer needs.
- Approximately 25% Travel
