Job Description
Manages a function or unit within the technology environment. May manage associates and be responsible for hiring, termination, performance management. Supports multiple systems through maintenance, modification, problem resolution etc to support ongoing delivery of services and/or operations. Manages multiple applications/ development projects, or single major complex initiatives if a small area of the development function. Coordinates resources across various applications, operations or projects. Manages budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Makes all decisions on personnel actions. Provides input on policy issues.
Overall ownership and accountability for the delivery of the Production Support service for GWB Payments Channels services. Specifically ownership of Cash Pro products and file channel B2Bi.
- Matrix manage the delivery of the service through reactive & proactive application support teams
- Senior stakeholder management of Business partners
- Senior stakeholder management of Operations Partners
- Stakeholder management of key technology partners such as CIO Delivery teams and CTO Infrastructure teams, and Risk partners.
- Accountable for the cost of the service to the Business owners including Vendor production costs where appropriate
- Provide escalation and management of Vendor relationships from a production service perspective.
- Provide a single point of contact for the Channels Production Service
- Work with regional Payments teams where appropriate to provide consistent model for end to end Payments production service.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in managing Application Support teams or Production Services.
- 7+ years of support experience working in critical systems for a large multi-national commercial/corporate bank
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong stakeholder management.
- Ability to deal with complex information, processes and relationships
- Good at handling clients and can demonstrate empathy to client situations and challenges.
- Strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills.
- Good ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly establish credibility.
