Role:

1) Hire, Train, Motivate and Manage Service, Maintenance and Installation Techs

2) Represent the company’s desired goals and policies to those working in the Service and Installation Departments.

3) Provide continued technical and sales training to the Service, Maintenance, and Installation Technicians

4) Manage call efficiency and department KPI results

5) Provide weekly reports to the Operations Manager on the status of the Service and Installation Departments

6) Lead the Service and Installation Departments to the successful fulfillment of its goals

Tasks and Duties:

1) Weekly meeting with office manager and operations manager to look over call booking and efficiency

2) Produce weekly reports for the operations manager

3) Provide tracking and approval for all Service Department spiffs

4) Set up and manage “on-call” rotation

5) Handle customer complaint calls as Office Manager makes you aware

6) Review Service Tickets daily

7) Provide coaching to technicians based on Service Ticket review

8) Follow up with customers

9) Run weekly Service and Installation Department meetings

10) Personally run Service Diagnostic and Repair Calls

11) Personally run Maintenance Calls

12) Install new equipment

Job Requirements:

1) Must have a good technical understanding of HVAC Systems

2) Must possess excellent diagnostic skills

3) Must exhibit good management and interpersonal communication skills

4) Must exhibit good customer service and professionalism

5) Must exhibit the characteristics of honesty and integrity, quality and reliability

6) Must be EPA Certified

7) Must have worked as a Service Technician for a minimum of 2 years.

Physical Requirements:

1) Must be able to see well enough to read reports, data, statistics, and information on a computer screen.

2) Must be able to hear well enough to communicate on the telephone and in person.

3) Must able to use your fingers for grasping, feeling, and be able to operate a computer and calculator

4) Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift up to 80 pounds and reach. May be required to do limited carrying, lifting, pulling and pushing.
Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and be able to crawl on hands and knees for at least 30 feet.
