Position Description:
- CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with agile development experience for a project with a large federal client.
- You will work with a motivated CIO shop that is passionate about Agile development and is eager to improve its process and mission efficiency.
- You will experience true teamwork by being part of a high-performing Agile team, working side-by-side with the client’s product owners to rapidly deliver the benefits of COTS software with limited technical debt.
- You will gain valuable digital transformation experience for upcoming client use cases, projects and contract awards.
- As a Project Manager you will be actively participating in evaluating, coordinating and creating software deliverables; meeting with customers; resolving issues; estimating, managing, monitoring, and reporting project cost and schedule, initiate process improvement/value-stream mapping and hardware and/or software testing and bug tracking.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Work at client-site in Arlington, VA
- Work directly with clients
- Manage the project: customer management, contract management, financial management, status reporting.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- US citizen with uninterrupted & verifiable history for the past 2 years
- A minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience in project management
- A minimum of five (5) years hands-on experience in agile practices
- Experience with managing the implementation of the following components of ITBM: Ideation, Demand, Resources, PPM, APM, and Financial Mgt
- DevOps experience
- PMP Certification
- CSM Certification
- Strong problem solving, communication and writing skills
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work on concurrent multiple efforts/projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
