We are seeking a high-judgment individual to manage our Food and Product Safety Investigations Program. This position is located in our Headquarters in Seattle.

  • Monitor, investigate, analyze and perform risk assessment for of food and product safety escalations. Engage with business teams, operations, customer service department and supply chain partners to drive product safety escalations to full resolution.

  • Accountable for working on ad hoc inquiries which come from all levels of management, Legal, PR and International regulatory bodies.

  • Develop, manage and implement policy on customer safety and quality in line with regulatory and customer requirements. Contribute to overall process and procedures improvements by putting forth improvement ideas to enhance customer experience.

  • Design, document, and maintain Food and Product Safety specific processes.

  • Liaise with global partners for process alignment, best practices sharing and the implementation of global projects to ensure regulatory compliance. Participate in other special projects/assignments as necessary with Amazon’s Global Product Safety team in EU, Seattle, and other Amazon locations to leverage common processes.

  • Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting trends in food and product safety escalations.

  • Previous experience in an e-commerce environment or other fast-paced, technology driven businesses a strong plus.
  • Six Sigma training and experience
