Behind Design, LLC. is a growing small business focused on providing remote procurement and project management services to residential interior designers. We work with designers all over the United States, providing them a way to outsource their back office work so that they can spend more time in design development and client relations.


THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager. This is a full time in-office position, with the possibility of becoming a remote position with approval. Experience or knowledge of the Interior Design industry is helpful, but not required. Reliable transportation is necessary. Salary will be based on ability and experience.


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

  • has 0-3 years experience in or an understanding of the design industry (preferred, not required)

  • has strong organizational and problem solving skills

  • has experience using Google Docs and Google Sheets

  • has experience using Ivy project management software -or- is a fast learner of new technology

  • has exceptional time management skills, and can meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

  • has the ability to work both on a team and independently, taking direction with minimal supervision

  • has exceptional communication skills and is very detail oriented


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • managing client accounts

  • managing vendor relationships

  • obtaining quotes from vendors

  • creating proposals, invoices and purchase orders

  • processing orders, following up on shipping statuses, initiating returns and exchanges and handling damage claims

  • regularly updating clients on project statuses

  • maintaining records of project statuses
