Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day management of client initiatives that impact the Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Post Sale departments.

Manage Compensatory team and Litigation team, handling accounts identified as high risk/litigation/title issues; recommend and help facilitate appropriate course of action to mitigate potential client and/or company exposure/losses.

Serve as liaison between clients, upper management and attorneys.

Manage compensatory process to GSEs and MI companies from receipt of invoice to resolution.

Manage MERS notifications to ensure timely responses.

Develop, prepare and distribute monthly management and executive reports.

Track and monitor litigated title claim issues; provide reporting to management and clients.

Work closely with Compliance team to keep personnel aware of relevant changes to guidelines and/or expectations.

Complete time tracking daily; ensure information is provided to guarantee client billing for all non-routine items and requests.

Conduct research.

Assess policy and procedures periodically; advise management on improvement opportunities.

Attend client meetings and provide updates related to litigation, title and compensatory fees.

Attend state/county hearings or mediations.

Participate in off-site due diligence reviews.

Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Attorney or previous legal experience preferred
-
Minimum 5 years mortgage default experience

Previous project management experience
-
Thorough knowledge of FHA/VA and GSE servicing guidelines and requirements

Familiar with foreclosure and bankruptcy laws in a multi-state portfolio

Working knowledge with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and software applications, including Practice Master
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Strong analytical skills
-
Detail oriented with ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
-
Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines
