As a member of our growing team, many of the LaSalle Solutions Data Center Director duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the Data Center Practice from both pre and post sales engineering
  • Lead the engineering resources to sales on pre sales and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Scope projects with clients and identify resources (internal and contractors) needed to successfully complete projects
  • Manage Data Center Specializations with vendors (Cisco, VMWare, etc.)
  • Complete certifications for Data Center Partners as needed
  • Strive to exceed client expectations
  • Manage project terms of client and internal personnel for project profitability and consultant utilization
  • Train team members on the latest technology and help them develop best practices
  • Update personal knowledge by participating in industry related educational and networking opportunities
  • Various projects and other duties as assigned


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing a team of 2 – 6 individuals, some remotely. Responsible for mentoring and providing positive and effective leadership. Able to perform annual reviews. Able to deal with personnel issues in an effective manner. Responsible for fostering and supporting a positive working environment.


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of comprehensive engineering background
  • In-depth understanding of Cisco UCCE product
  • Extensive experience deploying UCCE
  • Maintain certification and certificate requirements
  • Maintain proficiency in technology areas required to successfully deploy/support collaboration solutions
  • Ability to complete a moderately complex (single site or technology) design from scratch
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently
  • Highly professional with the ability to protect the company’s values and integrity and maintain confidentiality
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Highly motivated to succeed
  • Personable team player
  • Ability and experience adapting to new processes and procedures
  • Ability to travel
