Regional House Manager

Job Description

Provide planning and coordination for people with a disability to maximize their choice and control over the

services they receive.

Support people with a disability to access mainstream services and to increase our communities capacity to be

accessible to and supportive of people with disabilities. Circle of life supports individuals living in their own homes

or living at one of the sites. Circle of life will ensure that they have maximum opportunity for developing valued

and valuing lifestyles.

Regional House Manager will be clear that their professional engagement with clients is concerned with

generating quality personal relationships, which are supportive and life-enhancing. The care coordinator

will provide opportunities for choice, self-advocacy, and participation in matters relating to the home as well

as facilitating access to t0 community services and facilities.

Regional House Manager support client with all aspects of everyday living- personal care, washing, cleaning, laundry, preparing and cooking meals and shopping all goals in the care plan. Maintain current knowledge and

understanding of the relevant organizational and Departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.

Regional House Manager will consult with staff regarding behavioral plans of clients and plan the plans to

ensure the success of the client. Regional House Manager will have the ability to handle stressful events

when the client is not succeeding with the plan.

To contribute to the individual care planning making the sure plan is up to date and has current NOD.

To ensure appropriate records are kept of the individual’s progress and activity within the service and that these

are shared with the individual’s guardians with a weekly update on their individuals.

Responding to a crisis encourage positive and socially appropriate behavior, and effectively manage

challenging behavior. Coming up with an action plan when there is a crisis situation at one of the sites or individuals who live in their homes.

Communication, reporting, and client/program progress practices and procedures, by maintaining appropriate

client records. And work with clients, family members and other stakeholders in a collaborative and supportive

manner

Participate in developing and monitoring individual program plans and be accountable for their outcomes

To be aware of safe working conditions and implement safe working practices in all work areas and

report potential hazards, incidents, and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring COL is

complaint with OSHA. make sure fire, tornado, and bloodborne pathogen sheet is posited at each site

contribute openly and with confidence with other team members in a respectful and sensitive manner

Demonstrated ability to establish a professional working relationship with clients that is supportive,

encouraging and challenging.

Possess well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the conflict

the resolution, negotiation, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively as a member of a

team.

Ability and Willingness to work in a diverse range of settings

Regional House Manager will be responsible in making sure all appointments are organized and

making sure clients it to their appointment in a timely matter.

Regional House Manager will be responsible for the education of developing a plan to work with clients on

their mental health issues.

Will work with clients out in the community when needed, Will need to work at the houses with

clients as needed, Will help cut down overtime, Take clients to appointments, Assist quality assurance

in the office, Will assist the director in the office as needed

Will coordinate activities and make a monthly calendar for the sites and families for activities and make

sure that list is delivered.

Making sure their book down at every site that has member’s information such as care plans,

restrictions, diagnosis, and insurance cards, a packet for professional visit sheets for all appointments

Ensuring the homes are clean and clutter-free to reduce hazards and pest free
