The company has provided technical and content expertise in rural development, socially related investing, educational policy, environmentalism, food systems and food security issues, and access to health care. Its projects range in scope, scale, and duration.
With the investment of key foundations, KHA Inc has embarked on a new project called the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Environmental Philanthropy (InDEEP) Initiative. InDEEP is a professional development series that engages foundation staff, including senior leaders, committed to integrating racial equity and social justice throughout their environmental philanthropy. InDEEP supports environmental grantmakers in cultivating opportunities to increase funding for organizations led by people of color and strengthen grantees across the field to create a more diverse and inclusive environmental movement.
KHA Inc is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the team. The Executive Assistant will be an integral part of a small collaborative team and will provide diverse, complex and often confidential administrative and support services to the CEO. A strong commitment to Racial Equity is necessary.
Job Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, provides diverse, complex and often confidential administrative and support services to an executive. Work requires independent judgment and initiative on assignments that are sensitive in nature and demonstrated ability to deal with high level contacts inside and outside the institution. May perform special assignments such as researching information, compiling reports and special projects and events as directed. Requires knowledge of organization policy and procedure and high level of technical skill. May be responsible for event planning. The position includes performing traditional administrative functions as well as other projects at the discretion of leadership. The individual in this role will be required to be proactive daily, anticipating needs and staying engaged always.Some travel will be required. This is a remote position.

- Acts as a delegate for incoming calendar invitations and manages calendars;
- Schedules individual and recurring meetings and Webinars, maintaining invites and any agendas or documents necessary for each;
- Assists as needed with meeting setup which can include starting conference calls, video conferencing, material preparation, etc.;
- Coordinates meals for meetings as needed;
- Prepares PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel files and other materials as needed;
- Schedules travel;
- Provides similar assistance to CEOs direct reports as needed;
- May be given additional projects if performance in role exceeds expectations
- Performs other general administrative tasks:
- Provides direction and assistance to other employees as needed, often connecting employees with appropriate company resources;
- Acts as representative to external and internal contacts on behalf of supported leaders;
- Plans departmental events.

Preferred Qualifications
- 4 Year Degree preferred
- 3+ years administrative support or executive assistance required
- CAP certification preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be able to work a flexible schedule
- Problem solving ability
- Advanced MS Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)
- Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company
